We’re always working to improve your TenantCloud experience—whether you’re a landlord, property manager, or tenant. In Q2, we rolled out several new features and enhancements to save you time and make your workload even lighter.

Let’s take a look at what’s new:

Tenant App

April 7

A new version of the Tenant App is now available on the Google Play and App Store, packed with upgrades to make renting easier.

  1. New Onboarding & Guest Mode: First-time users now have a tailored onboarding experience to help them through the process. No connected landlord? No problem. Tenants can browse rentals on their own in Guest Mode.
  2. Animated Stubs: Engaging new visuals enhance overall app navigation.
  3. Utility Services: Tenants can now connect utilities directly through the app:
  • View providers available at their property
  • Submit connection requests or choose a plan
  • Upload confirmation documents
  • See pending requests right on the home screen

The Tenant app is free to download. Check it out today!

Tenant Turner Listings & Integration

April 8

We’ve expanded our Tenant Turner integration to streamline the listing process. This tool helps automate lead management, reduce the need for in-person showings (up to 68%), and improve response times—ideal for multiple listings at once.

Tenant Turner features:

  • Syndicate listings across major rental sites with just a few clicks.
  • Automate scheduling and allow prospective tenants to book tours directly.
  • Set pre-qualifications to filter out unqualified applicants.
  • Send automatic follow-ups, keeping interested leads engaged.

Global Search

April 10

We know how important it is to find what you're looking for when you need it. So, we added “Recently searched” items to our Global Search. Now, you can quickly pick up where you left off, whether you’re looking for a specific contact, report, or maintenance request.

Bulk Operations

April 16 – June 18

This spring, we rolled out a highly requested update: Bulk Operations. This is for managing large volumes of data at once (units, tenants, transactions, etc.), making it easier to see the whole picture.

Here’s what we’ve updated so far:

  • Transactions – Selecting the checkboxes next to transactions and a floating action bar with options appears. You can now mark those transactions as “paid” by entering the amount and date, followed by a modal for adding details and attachments.
  • File Manager – Select files in bulk to enable a floating action bar with additional tools, perfect for managing high volumes of documents across properties.
  • Rental Equipment – You can now delete rental equipment details in bulk, or assign/unassign from properties with a few clicks.
  • Leads – Select multiple leads and complete actions like Invite to Apply, Delete, Change Status, Add Note, or Add Task.

We always appreciate your feedback. Visit the research section on your dashboard to share your thoughts!

Multi-Currency

May 2

As we prepare for our Canada expansion, we’ve updated how our currencies work.

Now, each account’s currency will automatically match the currency of its properties, making it easier to manage your portfolio. This also paves the way for exciting features like Canadian payments, tenant screening, and more.

To simplify setup, we’ve added a Country field to the onboarding flow, which allows you to set a default currency from the start.

Already managing properties in different currencies? No problem, you’ll still be able to view and manage them, including creating invoices with multi-currency options.

We’re thrilled to bring more localized tools to our Canadian users - stay tuned for more!

Lease Updates

May 29

Lease Timelines - We've added more details behind user edits, giving you greater visibility into your lease history. Plus, the print version now mirrors the timeline preview, keeping everything consistent and easy to reference.

We’ve also cleaned up the global timelines behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoother than ever.

Rent Increase/Decrease - You can now easily schedule rent increases or decreases right from the Recurring Rent section of any active lease. Just choose the start date and enter the new amount. You can even schedule up to two future rent changes at a time.

To keep everyone informed, we’ve added a clearer user experience and new notifications for landlords and tenants.

Note: A recurring rent posting must be active to schedule changes.

PDF Editor Added to Owner Agreement

We’ve enhanced the Owner Agreement flow by adding a PDF Editor. Property Managers can now upload a PDF and customize it using signature fields, initials, textboxes, checkboxes, and other elements before sending it to the owner for signing. Additional documents can also be linked to agreements using the “Attachments” section.

The signing module for owners has also been updated.

New Reports

June 25

We've made several upgrades to Reports this year, providing landlords, property managers, and owners with an overall improved and customizable reporting experience. Our focus was on aligning PDF/Excel exports with preview pages, refining report logic, and offering more visual control over how data is displayed and filtered.

Most reports now offer drag-and-drop column reordering, saved column sets, updated terminology, and more granular filters by unit, lease status, and property. We've also introduced a Report Preview Page, so you can instantly view data before exporting—no downloads required.

Here are the 17 reports that received improvements:

  1. Tenant Statement – Simplified logic, new filters, columns, and better handling of combined leases
  2. Lease Statement – Added Start/End Date columns, drag-and-drop customization
  3. Profit & Loss Statement – PM/Owner toggle, refined terminology, new filters, and owner portal view
  4. Operating Statement – Saved column views, assigned owner row (PM only), layout and filter updates
  5. Deposits & Liabilities – Per-property view, unpaid tracking, tenant-level lease links, added filters
  6. Tenant Screening Report – Improved export formatting, drag-and-drop columns
  7. Provider Statement – Export and layout alignment, column reordering
  8. Property Expenses Report – Consistent formatting, flexible column options
  9. Tax Preparation Report – New unit filter for multifamily, export format consistency
  10. Online Payments Report – “Available on” column added, filters by payment status and account, new logic for status-based totals
  11. Property Statement – Column customization, new filter for category/sub-category
  12. Rent Roll – New filters (balance), new columns like days listed/vacant, improved lease type logic
  13. Contacts Information – Added full contact detail columns, removed confusing statuses, export improvements
  14. General Expenses – Column editing, renamed file format, consistent export layout
