What's New in TenantCloudNovember 17, 2017
We’re thrilled to present the latest TenantCloud release, available for our users immediately. With great feedback from our users, we have developed some new features and made improvements to the old, which will contribute once again to an even more powerful, convenient and multitasking property management tool.
So, this is what’s new in your account:
All your files are now saved automatically to the File Manager which can be found in the Settings. You will allow you to see any and all files saved in one convenient location. Files are identified by each property or can be searched by name. One place to preview, download and delete with ease.
Following numerous requests from our users, we've added the ability to schedule rent increases for landlords. Now you don't need to do it manually, but simply click the button RENT INCREASE while viewing the lease. There are two types to choose from - fixed amount and percentage. You can schedule the increase for any time in the future and set up a calendar reminder to stay updated.
We’ve improved the verification process and now all the steps are displayed on the same page which makes the process much easier. Verification is still required before setting up TC Payments and listing properties to the third-party websites. We truly believe verification of your identity will help to prevent fraud and create the trust of all tenants, landlords and maintenance people who are entering your home.
We’ve slightly changed the layout of the landlord website and added some new stuff. Now your potential tenants can review a video tour (if provided). Plus, your applicants can request a tour. New share buttons have been improved, so you and others can share it with more applicants.
TC Messenger got a new design and functionality. Now after users get connected, the dialogue between them will be created automatically with the welcome message. After the message is sent it will display one of two statuses - sent and read, so landlords and tenants can know if their message has been received.
Now users can upload a short 15-second video to better illustrate the issue. Landlords and Service Pros get the option to download and print the maintenance request information. We've also brought back the ability to see pictures as a gallery layout.
Other new features include the ability to clone a unit after it is created which will save time when adding units with the same information; the ability to switch between month-to-month and annual subscription; TC Payments widget for those users who have activated TC Payments, and other minor improvements and bug fixes.
