Deposits Summary Report

The Deposits Summary Report sums up deposits connected to a tenant. It shows amount due, paid, returned, applied, and held as of today's date. This report is often used for tracking deposits paid before the move-in and used to return or apply the deposit when the lease is ended.

Please note!
The Deposits Summary Report is not shared with the owner by default. To enable sharing, the property manager must change the configuration in the owner's profile.

When generating the Deposit Summary Report, you can adjust the following criteria:

Filter by Tenant
You can filter the report by a specific tenant. If you do not select a particular tenant from the dropdown menu, the system will generate a report for all tenants.

Filter by category
The system will generate a report by all categories if you have not selected any category from the dropdown menu. If a category has been selected, you can choose a sub-category as well.

Grouping
You can enable/disable the “Grouping” option. Enabling "Group by sub-category" will group by deposit with sub-category A-Z (sorted alphabetically by tenant name within the group).

Preview the report
The Preview button gives you the option to preview the complete report as a PDF file in a new tab. You can go through it and download it if all is correct, go back and adjust other settings, or just close the tab.

Downloading the report
Click the "download" button to generate the Deposits Summary Report. The report is generated into one file, and you can download it as an Excel or PDF file. The "preview" and "download " buttons will be inactive if there is no information on the chosen criteria or you have no properties added.

Please note!
If the file is very large, it will be compressed into a zip file which you will need to unzip.
