How do I view outstanding and overdue invoices of my tenants? or How do I view how much my tenants owe me?

There are three pages to view outstanding and overdue invoices of your tenants:

  • Transactions page
  • Balances page
  • Dashboard widgets
  • Tenants page

Transactions page

In order to take a look at all outstanding balances and overdue invoices of your tenants, go to the "Accounting" page from the left side menu of your dashboard. On the "Transactions" sub-page you can view the total sum of an outstanding balance, as well as paid and overdue invoices:

Outstanding invoices show the total income from all your tenants, including open statuses (unpaid invoices that are due, but for which the grace period has not yet passed), overdue statuses (unpaid invoices that are unpaid past the due date and grace period), and partially unpaid statuses.

Outstanding invoices include general income, property income, and liability transactions.

The overdue invoice status shows total overdue income payments from all tenants. Overdue invoices are unpaid invoices that are unpaid past the due date and grace period.

You can also filter transactions by clicking the "Filter" button and selecting categories you want to filter:

Balances page

The "Balances" sub-page from the "Accounting" menu shows the sum of outstanding balances for each of your tenants from largest to smallest balance. You may click the down arrow to sort the opposite way and show the smallest balances from the top. The page consists of four tabs, so you can easily switch between 0-30, 30-60, 60-90, 90+ days or All Time options to track outstanding balances more efficiently.

Balances include general income, property income, and liability transactions with the following statuses: open, overdue, and partially unpaid:

You may send a notice to a tenant with an active lease and email address on file. Additionally, you may apply credits or deposits if applicable, towards unpaid invoices from the three dots action.

Overdue invoices widget:

The Overdue Invoices widget from your dashboard shows the statistics about overdue invoices for the period of the last 30 days from today.

Tenants page

If you would like to take a look at the outstanding balance for a specific tenant, select the tenant from the "Contacts" page on the left side menu of your dashboard.

Click on "Receive" next to the Outstanding section from the left to view all outstanding income payments from your tenant that are open, partially unpaid, and overdue:
