How do I set up my TC Payments account?

When you come to TC Payments to register, you will be given a choice of two types of accounts: Free standard and Advanced.

 FREE STANDARD

When you choose a Free standard account, you will be asked to enter basic information such as first and last name and email address. Your account will be able to fulfill ACH payment requests and receive money from landlords and property managers registered within TenantCloud. 

With a Free standard account, there is no setup fee, each transaction has a default limit of $10,000 per week, and U.S. Bank is required.

ADVANCED

When you choose a Advanced account, you will be asked to enter basic information as well as to provide your Social Security number and US government-issued ID.  Your account will be able to fulfill ACH payment requests and receive money from landlords and property managers registered within TenantCloud.

With an Advanced account there is no limit to the number of transactions you can complete each day, each week, or each month; there is a limit of $10,000 per transaction; and there is a $2.99 one-time setup fee.

Please note! The $2.99 setup fee is non-refundable.

Once you choose a Advanced account, you will be asked to provide your credit card number, zip code, credit card expiration date, and CVC/CVV. Check the box that certifies you have read and accepted the terms of service and privacy policy, and then press the "Pay & Continue" button to pay your $2.99 setup fee and continue creating your account.

Next you will provide your contact data, Social Security number and address information.

Please note! If you choose a Advanced account, you will be required to provide your Social Security number and a US government-issued ID. Dwolla uses your Social Security number to verify your identity through a general public records search. If you do not have a form of US identification, it is very likely that there is not enough public information available to verify your identity. Dwolla is only available to users in the US, so some form of US identification is necessary.

Double check that all the entered information is correct to avoid account suspension.

Then accept Dwolla's terms of service and privacy policy and press the "Create account" button.

Please note! If you have a Free standard account and you would like to increase the limit to $10,000 per one transaction, you can upgrade your account to Advanced at any time by selecting "Verify account".

After successfully creating your personal customer account, you will need to add and verify a bank account. After you’ve completed this step, your TC Payments powered by Dwolla account will be able to fulfill payment requests and receive money from personal and businesses accounts.
